We in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern consider ourselves as a golf region!
Alongside organising the smooth running of sports activities, we
are strongly focussed on supporting the efficiency of our golfing
facilities as well as further developing the “Golfing State
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (M-V)” brand name. The “golfing landscape” in Germany
is in a state of upheaval. Economic aspects will play an increasingly
key role in the future. Northern Germany
will have to work together more strongly. As a tourist region we
compete with golf destinations all over Europe.
As a state association, we regard ourselves on this issue as a
service provider for our members, courses as well as the sport and
tourism state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Our courses provide the basis for
the investment being made, the creation of new jobs and promotion of
regional tourism. This year we are again hosting many quality
tournaments of trans-regional interest. As we are using these
tournaments as an advertising platform for our state, many of them will
assume an event character. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to become
acquainted not only with our region’s sports activities but also its
cultural and gastronomic highlights.
